“If your brother becomes poor and cannot maintain himself with you, you shall support him as though he were a stranger and a sojourner, and he shall live with you".
Here's My Take:
CATALYST(As Family Member): we concluded yesterday by saying "Any family where there are two extremes(rich and poor), then that family doesn't deserve to be called family. There are families you'll go you'll see one set is very very rich, then you'll see another set that's very very poor. Something is lacking there.
I have seen families where one person first succeeded, he then pulled all his family members out of poverty. There's this Igbo adage that says if everyone becomes wealthy enmity will die natural death. But when one person is successful and the rest aren't, he'll end up creating enemies for himself.
When you see a family that have Catalysts, even neighbours will be a witness to their generosities. Because when they finished helping themselves, and because it's in their nature to help, they'll locate the people around them.
Conclusion:
Any family where the individuals there see themselves as one and do things as one, no enemy will ever have access into them.
