Why do people say goodbye?

4. When trust has been broken

In the ancient times, integrity and honesty are held in the highest honours. And they're the qualities people look out for in kingship and/or any related positions, in marriage, business partnerships, etc. But when people such qualities are expected from failed to remain committed, people's trusts in them will be broken. And if they couldn't change but continue in that lifestyle, people will avoid them.

This is what some families and communities are suffering from today, no one wants to marry from them or relate with them, because their fathers at one time broke a trust. The story will be carried from generation to generation and also the effects too. This is why we hear stories like, our family(kindred, community, etc) doesn't marry from that family.

Keeping and maintaining the trust people had on you is one of the hardest work to do and that's why majority couldn't do it.

It's easier to distrust than to trust. 

Conclusion:

Have you been trying to know why some people have been avoiding you lately, yet you couldn't get the answer? Reason is that they don't trust you again. It may be as a result of what they have been told about you.
