Here's My Take:
GOD BLESS ME isn't a wish. It isn't just a prayer, it's a demand. When one knows his rights in Christ Jesus. When you know that you have a place/space in God and situation of things are hindering you from getting it. You scream it like you understand that if you don't, it will go forever; you cry GOD BLESS ME!
The little time that I have spent on this planet, I'd found out that demand and request are not the same. Infact they don't follow the same pattern, even though sometimes we interchange them, but they're not the same. The formal comes out of frustration and desperation, knowing that something is yours but not reachable. You demand for it! While the latter has little push, knowing that it's not yours, but maybe somehow you needed it. You request for it!
GOD BLESS ME is a cry that comes very deep inside. The one who cry this kinda doesn't need to be consoled but to be blessed. And Blessed he shall be!
