Word: Joshua 1:1, 5-6 NLT
After the death of Moses the Lord ’s servant, the Lord spoke to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ assistant. He said, No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you. “Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them.
Here's My Take:
What/who can raise someone's confidence:
5. GOD:
Who will God reassure?
3. Those walking with God wholeheartedly.
Just like we said yesterday God doesn't wait till we ask for reassurance before he does that; at any distance we've walked, even when we claim to be strong or when we're weak he'll reassure us to continue and to remain strong.
When Moses the Man of God died, and Joshua took over according to Joshua chapter one. God did not wait for him to ask for it, neither did he wait for sacrifice from Bro Josh. Instead, He called on Joshua and reassured Him. Why? Because Joshua from the beginning worked with Him wholeheartedly. And seeing that the young man is genuine in his dealings with Him, he reassured him.
God never leaves His own stranded, he always call them back. He always call them to other and give them necessarily orientation and strategy for next move.
Conclusion:
If you said God has called you and you've not gotten Reassurances from him, better check whether He really called you. Because he that calls people is always Faithful...
