Topic: The Old Prophet(Who is "The Old Prophet"?)
Word: 1 Timothy 1:1-2 NLT
This letter is from Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus, appointed by the command of God our Savior and Christ Jesus, who gives us hope. I am writing to Timothy, my true son in the faith. May God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord give you grace, mercy, and peace.

What can make your Oil to run dry:
3. When the cover is bad:
When the cover of the Oil inlet of an engine is bad(broken or unfitted), there's every possibility that the Oil inside the engine will be jumping out from there, leading to Oil shortages.
This is what is seen when a young vibrant minister found himself under an Old Prophet(wrong cover). He'll be under wrong guidance and counselling.
It takes a Prophet who knows what to do to be able to guide you through. Being under wrong guidance can result to dryness. Many good old men of God today are coaching a lot of young ministers, who will not necessarily take over from them but will go out to the world and capture it for Christ. They don't care where you wanna start your ministry as a young minister. All they care about is to ensure that you become a better duplicate of them. But when you are under a bad cover(Old Prophet), you'll die before them.
I heard of a wonderful man of God, when he noticed any young minister under his coaching is fully developed, and he saw how strong and firm that person had been, he'll tell him is time to go and start up a church of your own. He was not doing that because he was scared he'll rob shoulders with him. No. But because he sees greatness in them and want their own Oil to become useful. So when he sends them out, he never abandon them, but watch over them like a father. And give them every necessary empowerment they needed to succeed. What a great Father?!
Conclusion:
A bad cover is bad and requires change. When you notice that your engine oil inlet cover is bad, don't hesitate to change it to avoid your engine loosing so much oil which may result to deadness. No say I no tell you!
