Dear brother and sister, being friends doesn't necessarily mean it must end in marriage. This is what usually creates enmity between two adults because in their minds "it's either marriage or nothing."
Know this and know peace: the two of you could be friends and mean well for each other without strings attached. We should grow past that.
Friendship and marriage are two separate commitments. If you're friends and it leads to marriage, fine; but if it doesn't, fine. You move on and still have value and respect for each other.
