Topic: Overcoming Worry for Tomorrow
Word: Matthew 6:34 KJV
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Many misunderstood this verse of the Scripture and they refused to plan for their lives.
“Beloved, there's a huge difference between thought and plan.”
According to the Scripture, the thought there means thinking, worry, being disturbed, too anxious, etc. The Scripture is telling us not to over worry ourselves about tomorrow. Many have given up on life because of the fear of tomorrow. They checked their yesterday, they observed today, they conclude that tomorrow will be the worst. And they died.
God knew that so many are worried about tomorrow, including me, and He told us not to take any thought about morrow.
