WHAT SPIRITUAL DIRECTION DOES FOR US:
10. Spiritual Direction Helps in Decision Making.
Life is full of decisions, and one wrong decision can affect many years of a person’s life. Spiritual direction helps a person make wise decisions concerning relationships, career, marriage, ministry, business, and destiny.
11. Spiritual Direction Brings Clarity.
One major enemy of progress is confusion. Spiritual direction gives clarity and understanding. It helps a person know where to go, what to do, and what to avoid. A spiritually directed person may not know everything, but he usually has clarity about the next step.
12. Spiritual Direction Protects Against Pride.
When a person constantly seeks God’s direction, he remembers that success is not by strength alone. Spiritual direction keeps a person humble and dependent on God instead of becoming arrogant because of achievements.
Conclusion:
One of the best decisions anyone can make is to seek spiritual direction. At first, it may not seem like a wise choice, but with time, its value becomes evident, and it will never be regretted.
