In Spirit of Father's Day Celebration, let me quickly share with you some of the things we were taught today in the Church

The Demands Of Fatherhood
Text: Prov 17:6
Fatherhood is a crown is also a cross
The crown is the Glory. The cross is the assignment/responsibility. Fatherhood is the crown of honor and cross of responsibility. There's no crown without a cross.
Demands Of Every Father:
1. Demand of Presence.
Don't be an absent Father. Your presence matters a lot. 1 Peter 3:7, Deut 6:6-9. Create time for your children. Prov. 20:7
2. Demand of example.
Live it first. Live the life you want for your children first. Titus 2:6-7, 1 Cor 4:15, 3Jn 1:4. Be a role model.
3. Demand of training.
You were giving those children to train them. Eph 6:4, Prov 22:6, Deut 6:7, Prov 23:24.
3. Demand of spiritual covering.
Job 1:5. Fatherhood is priesthood. Father is the first altar of his house. Ps 112:2.
