Here’s My Take:
Jesus Encounter With The Pharisees:
If crowds or the size of church members don’t cause problems in this dispensation, nothing else will. May God deliver us from the crowd. We were told yesterday that the crowd the Pharisees saw following Jesus made them wonder if they were called or not.
They couldn’t believe their eyes because they were shocked at how one man could gather such a crowd, while all of them, including the ones in other locations combined, had never gathered such a crowd. It made them more curious and envious.
They first lost hope when the crowd was following John the Baptist. But they didn’t feel it that much because they still had followers then. But when Jesus arrived on the scene, He swept the crowd away. It drove them crazy. And because they couldn’t handle it, they decided to kill Jesus or anyone associated with Him.
Conclusion:
I saw something today that got me teary. I will tell you that tomorrow. Anticipate.
Hear this… don’t let the crowd following others make you think you’re not doing well. Don’t let that make you feel less of your anointing. Remember, it’s not by crowds but by crowns.
