The worst thing that can happen in a leadership setting is allowing people with an entitlement mentality to occupy leadership positions.
Because:
- They are careless with leadership responsibilities.
- They hardly listen to counsel, even when they are heading toward destruction.
- The position becomes a tool for manipulation.
- They see themselves as being above the law; they create rules and policies they themselves will never obey.
- They always want to be noticed and exalted.
But when such people are already in those positions, what should you do?
Avoid unnecessary conflict with them, but never fear them.
Do whatever is required of you properly so they will not use anything against you.
Always remember this: “Nothing lasts forever.” The fact that they are there today does not mean they will remain there forever.
