Do you know that one of the easiest ways to trend, especially in Nigeria, is to attack popular preachers (servants of God)? Attacking the president of the country, business moguls, or celebrities does not fetch as much attention or generate as many engagements as attacking pastors.
When a nobody wants to gain relevance, the easiest route is to look for a popular preacher or a mega church to attack.
A few months ago, someone publicly attacked Jerry Eze, saying that his NSPPD prayers are mere noise-making. He said many other things I can’t even remember now.
Today, I saw someone who claimed to be an apostle saying that all the crowds that gather for Paul Enenche and Becky Enenche’s crusades are Photoshop-generated.
Again today, I read a post where someone alleged that Johnson Suleman is having affairs, attaching his picture with those of several women.
They know that when they post such things, people will react emotionally. The reactions — whether in defense or attack — increase their visibility. The more engagement they get, the more relevant they become.
"The best way to end these kinds of attacks is simple: ignore them. Because when we keep amplifying them, we unknowingly help them trend. Silence can sometimes be the strongest response."
Let Us Pray 🙏🙏
Are you ready for the coming of CHRIST?
Are you sure?
