Topic: Recommendation Birth Condemnation
Word: Luke 7:20 NLT
John’s two disciples found Jesus and said to him, “John the Baptist sent us to ask, ‘Are you the Messiah we’ve been expecting, or should we keep looking for someone else?’”
Here's My Take:
Example Of Recommendation That Birth Condemnation:
Biblical Characters:
10. John The Baptist: Just like we'd said John The Baptist is a household name amongst Christians. Because of his kind of calling and ministry. He foreseen the coming of the Messiah and he told the people to prepare their hearts for His coming.
He has two unique names, which he got as a result of his type of ministry, namely, John The Baptist and A Voice In The Wilderness. So John TB is a General in the things of God and a voice for the Kingdom. His weight, audacity and authority made people consider him to be the Messiah.
But in all these great things said about him, one thing; just one thing became his stumbling block. Doubt. He told us about the Messiah, he also baptized Him, and he heard when a voice from Heaven announced Him as God's Beloved Son. Then why the doubt?
Conclusion:
Doubt is the end product of fear. When we entertain fear in our hearts for any situation/condition around us, doubting becomes inevitable.
Song:
You paid the price
The highest price
I'm so grateful
For your love
You took my place
And now I stand
To be called your very own
Because you live
Jesus I live
I have no fear
Of what tomorrow brings
Because you live
Jesus I live today
I live to praise your name
Prayer:
Lord deliver us from the spirit of fear and doubt, in Jesus name. Amen..
