Yes is true that the Pharaoh that came after Joseph did not know Joseph. But my question is where was he when Joseph was in charge? Even if he was much younger, at least he would have heard from others about him. Because envy made him not to care to know.
Envy can blind the eyes of the host from seeing, ears from hearing and shut the mouth from saying the truth. And it's very difficult to leave the host
Conclusion:
One dangerous thing about Envy is that it's cancerous; the cancer of the soul. It doesn't go away except God intervention. So many people have gone to their graves with it. It may not kill instantly, but it's eating up the soul.
