Topic: CROSSING SPIRITUAL BOUNDARY
Word: Hebrews 10:31 NLT
It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Here's My Take:
WHY DO PEOPLE CROSS SPIRITUAL BOUNDARY:
12. Robbing shoulders with God's Servants: this attitude is seen more in Pentecostals than any other Christian bloc. I can tell you for free because I have seen how others regard their Priests, you can't compare them with those in the Pentecostals; you can go and verify.
That doesn't mean that everyone does that in the Pentecostal though, but that attitude is found more in their midst. Especially when the Pastor is a young man, or when he's not from that zone or tribe, he may be looked down on, making people not to respect him or the Grace he carry.
There are consequences ignorance doesn't clear. This is one of them. Robbing shoulders with a Servant of God has consequences, though it may not happen immediately, but it will. We'll see examples from the Scripture and outside the Scripture to help us have a better understanding, as we proceed.
Conclusion:
Wisdom comes when we fear the Lord, and it's that Wisdom that will help us respect His servants.
Song:
Hallelujah, praise the one who set me free
Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me
You have broken every chain
There's salvation in your name
Jesus Christ, my living hope
Hallelujah, praise the one who set me free
Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me
You have broken every chain
There's salvation in your name
Jesus Christ, my living hope
Prayer:
Father as we stand in awe of You, may we receive Wisdom in Jesus name. Amen.
