It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, Because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: Great is thy faithfulness.
Have you wondered what would have become of us if the Lord had not been protecting us? The world is filled with so much wickedness; where one person will want to be/have/own/control everything.
This is enough reason for us to always be Grateful to God, for not have allowed them to swallow us.
