There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:
Here's My Take:
I have come to understand that when a man's Now has not come, nothing will be done about it. You can only nearly come close to your Now, but will automatically return back if it's not yet time. No matter how you tried, or how far you push it, you'll only come near, but won't be there.
This happens both to positive and negative things. Many a times I have seen so many people that were very sick to the point of death. All hope lost and all expectations concluded on his/her death, only for him/her to narrowly come back alive and healthy. While someone else that was very strong without any symptoms of sickness died.
Everyone will be like, the person we all expected to die didn't die, and a healthy person died! That's Nows for you. S/he lived because it's not yet his/her Now, while the dead one got to his/her Now. This is the state of Nature, and it understood Nows.
Conclusion:
Who has survived a burning oil except John the beloved?! Why? Because it wasn't his time to die.
