What Happens After/At The Time Of Weakness:
8. Confidence Destroyed:
Many a time I'd wished to go back to the days of old. I don't know how many that have had such thoughts before? I'd have that over and over again. Though in times of old, there were not much amenities as we have now, but desperation was minimal, compared to the way it is now.
Both spiritual, financial, material, etc desperations we witnesses now are not the way it was then. Then people are desperate for God more, but now people are desperate to own a cathedral, not because of the Love for souls, but because of the money.
This is why a little Weakness(temptation or tribulation) will deeply affect and disrupt our services to God. But those days, it was seen as something one must pass through, thereby making everyone to prepare for his/her own
Conclusion:
Though the old seems to be better, but I see a revival fire as if in the days of old coming to lavish this generation. When it shall come, it will know no
boundaries, cos it will touch every tribe & religion, race & nation. We await your revival, Lord! This is my confidence..
