6. Irresponsibility
Whatever anybody does to his/her friendships after marriage is nobody's business and should be respected. But this should have taken place if the persons you call friends are irresponsible and because you don't want their closeness to affect your decisions thereby contaminate the peaceful coexistence between you and your partner. Then you can let go of them.
On this note don't give it a second thought before you fire them all. Nothing distracts/destroys a union like irresponsible friends. That's how a lady left the marriage she has enjoyed for more than ten years. Just that she was married immediately after her secondary School. After so many years the young man decided to send her to higher institution so that she can become a graduate. That became the man's sin. She abandoned her beautiful kids and fled with another guy.
After much pleading by concerned individuals, she still refused. Not that she was abused in any way, or denied access to any good thing she wanted to do. Just that she was brainwashed by friends; who were not married. She saw life that she missed(in University) because of early marriage, she rushed after it, without second thought. Ewo!
The man would wish he never thought of University not to mention sending her there.
Conclusion:
Be careful of who you take advice from. That s/he is your friend doesn't mean that s/he can give you positive advise that will help your life. Better run!
