Faith comes by hearing the word of God. And that word is Christ.
Therefore the word(Christ) has released faith to us as gift/seed. But how useful it will be is dependent on the one that received it.
If any one that receives it put it to work, it'll become alive(useful, beneficial, etc to) in him. And He'll become the hope of Glory in his life, family, business, ministry, etc.
But if any one that received it chose not to put it to work, it will die.
Because faith without work is dead!
