4. Gossip
Gossip has no strength, it's our ignorance and immaturity to handle it that strengthens it.
One thing we shouldn't forget as friends, acquaintances, couples is that gossip can never stop. It's a disease eating up the society. Someone said if you want to feed your ears with hearsays about people, go to hair salon complexes or Okada parks. Haha
Gossip can never be stopped, but can be reduced. One of the ways is to confront the gossiper aggressively. Next time when he wants to say a thing about you, s/he will remember the last encounter you had with him/her, and shut up.
For instance, I heard how a Nollywood Star, Jim Iyke, gave one clown a big blow for saying things against him. Though it looks not ok, but that's one of the favorite ways to end gossip. Since that incident, am not sure whether the clown had said anything against Jim Iyke again. Attack is not good, I condemn it, but sometimes it helps to correct people's way of reasoning.
Conclusion:
When falsehood are not suppressed, it'll spread like wild fire.
And when the mouth of a gossip is not reshaped by blows, it'll continue to cause havock. Hahaha
