Why do people say goodbye?

6. When purpose/project has been established/completed

One funny thing about selfishness is, the selfish are usually the ones to regret, because they're too anxious to take from people. So when they didn't succeed regrets will follow. In their minds everyone is foolish and can't understand their intentions.

There was this funny thing that happened somewhere among group of people, not related though, but they came together and later became a force to reckon with because of the way they were involved in their jobs. But amongst them were bunch of selfish people. When they were done with the job, one of them who were the most senior decided to dissolve everything. Everyone retired home, no calls, no nothing. He never bothered knowing how they were doing, and what's happening in their lives.

After a very long time, he used one of his close allies to gather them together. They agreed to come together only to discover that the reason for gathering them was because he needed their help, nothing more. His ally tried to enjoin them to help him, but everyone abandoned him and fled. He could not say anything, because when one person in that group needed help, he ignored the person. And he's calling for help.

Conclusion:

No matter how much you pretend, people will still know what you're.
