Why do people say goodbye?
5. When their integrity is at stake.
Men of integrity does not involve themselves in frivolous matters; things that doesn't add value to them. They avoid things that will stain their integrity. They're very conscious of who/what they're. I remember in those days learned men(Barristers and Medical Doctors) are regarded as men of integrity and honour, until they prove that integrity is not by qualifications, but by attitude displayed. How? You'll find out that many medical practitioners are the ones into medical hazards than ordinary people.
Same way the men of Law does not keep the law more than the ordinary people. But real men; men of integrity does not require certificate to show who they are. In the midst of plenty and/or empty; in gain and/or in pain; in sadness and/or gladness, law or no law, their integrity remains unshaken.
But one thing they do is not to let people get in their way.
They stay when it's necessary and they leave when it's unconducive. They're wise enough to know when the atmosphere is no longer conducive for them.
Now, suppose a man/woman of integrity mistakenly get married to someone who's integrity is not that strong, s/he will influence his/her partner.
Conclusion:
Men of integrity are men of few words but full of action. Knowing fully well that words can implicate a person.
