A If anyone thinks himself to be religious [scrupulously observant of the rituals of his faith], and does not control his tongue but deludes his own heart, this person’s religion is worthless (futile, barren).

Here's My Take: 

Why do people Camouflage?

8. Because of Religion.

As we already know, that Christianity is not a religion but a lifestyle. But it's possible that one could be called a Christian but s/he is not. It's just like referring to everyone in US, as an American. Which is also true and also not true.

So if you're claiming to be a Christian when your life is saying something different, just know that you're Camouflaging

One can also play religion in Christianity, by being active in all the Church rituals but yet has not encountered Christ.

Least I forget, I'll like to share this too. Church is not Christianity and Christianity is not Church. Church doesn't determine who is a Christian and being a Christian is not restricted only in the Church.

So when you see people with funny lives and attitude, yet in the Church. Just know that they belong to the Church, and not Christ.

Let's ensure we separate Church Members from Christ Members; they're not the same.

Christianity does not and has not supported evil; and will never do that. So when anyone Camouflage under it to do wickedness, just know that the person is playing religion and not displaying a 'life'. Which made him/her not to be a Christian.

Conclusion:

I've got this life(Christ life) and am proud of it, anytime, anywhere!
