5. SONGS:
While I count songs as the best reassuring instrument is because there is always the right song/s for the now. Whether you're mourning or rejoicing, crying or laughing; whatever the condition/situation is there's a song for you. Whether you're white or black, old or young, male or female, educated or not, whatever you may be, there's a song for you.
Let's see what one of us in our WhatsApp group shared to us about his experiences with songs.
"Sometimes I get depressed. What I need at that moment sometimes is just a spiritual song speaking deep into my soul, through my ears.
It has become a daily routine and a habit for me to play sets of worship songs from around 4am before praying and facing the day. These sets of worship songs create an atmosphere for my spirit to commune with the Holy Spirit. And if the day is free, I can stretch the communion for hours into the day. When I need strength and motivation to do a menial labour, or a chore, I play songs(esp. Fast ones).
It distracts my mind from the stress of the work, and the work becomes more like fun than stressful.
In fact, to me, songs are more than songs. They are more like companions. I am an introvert, and some of my company indoors are the Holy Spirit and Songs. My guitar is always close to me, cause I can be inspired at any moment.
I can barely sleep without them; I can barely wake without them; I can barely work without them; I can barely rest without them.
They are my meditation drive, and so much more; I can say but a few. Thank you
Conclusion:
Listening to the right songs in a day can make your day go Blissful.
