Here's My Take:
What/who can raise someone's confidence:
5. GOD:
Who will God reassure?
3. Those walking with God wholeheartedly.
Studying the account of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego with the other exiled Hebrews, you'll agree with us that these three guys never made their decisions on walking with God based on public opinion. They never followed 'O yes' members. But took their decisions personally.
I believe for the Bible to say that they answered the King “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty. But even if he doesn’t, we want to make it clear to you, Your Majesty, that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up.”
It means that each one of them has this report already seated in him. Whether Meshach agrees or not, Abednego will not change his mind. Same with the other and vice versa. So they didn't take their individual decisions based on mutual agreements. Therefore, to walk with God, one needs to decide and focus on it, and not get affected by other people's decisions
Conclusion:
The good news is when you walk with God wholeheartedly, your strength will be renewed; your weaknesses turned to strengths, your sins forgiven and forgotten, etc.
Conclusion:
We don't walk with God by our experiences, we walk with God by his Spirit.
