What can make your Oil to run dry:

3. Bad pistol and rings: 

ii). Excessive oil consumption:

when you surround yourself with bad friendships, things will be too difficult for you. Somethings that would have taken just a year, may take you years to achieve. You'll struggle so much before you enjoy. Your seasons won't be like your assignment. You'll be wondering why it was very easy for others but different for you. 

Excessive Oil(time, prayers, fasting and kinds of spiritual exercise) will go down when running your engine. When you surround yourself with Spiritual friends, they'll stand for/with you Spiritually and physically, wherever the the matter is required. There by reducing some loads for you. But when you surround yourself with people who's interests are fleshy, you'll see them only in need not in deed. 

When you see a strong believer, who later started having doubt over what(Christianity) he believed so much in, check his friends. Check those who surrounded him, you'll find out that they're out of the league. They don't belong to the Commonwealth of Israel

The work of 'believers friendship' is to help each other align.

So many times I have been discouraged to the point that I felt like quitting, including this daily nuggets. But some of my friends encouraged me not to quit. Same way I have been a source of encouragement to others too.

Conclusion:

There's this slogan we'd use anytime we get tired of running(spiritually, physically, etc), that has helped us. We'll tell ourselves "we've come too far, the distance we've covered is the same distance left. Instead of using that energy to go back, let's use it and move forward".

Good friends(pistol and rings) keeps you running not quitting...
