Topic: THE GOLIATH
Word: 1 Samuel 17:4 KJV
“And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span.”
Here's My Take:
WHO IS THE GOLIATH TO YOU?
3. Killer (1 Samuel 17:8-9):
For Goliath to be and remain a champion, so many heads might have gone down. Goliath is a killer, Goliath is a waster, Goliath is a destroyer. Goliath is prepared to kill any day, anytime. That's what he grew up to become, and was trained to do also. Goliath is a man without sympathy. Harming people means nothing to him. He doesn't feel guilty for harming people.
Goliath is a champion who will always want to maintain his status by all means. And to do that, a lot of things will be at stake. Lives will be wasted. Destinies will be destroyed. Goliath hates competition; he eliminates anything/anyone that stands in his way.
Goliath came to demonstrate his power on the people of Israel. He didn't just come; he came prepared. This is a reminder for us to understand that the Goliath we are dealing with didn't come to play with us, he came prepared. And he is not ready to spare if he gets the opportunity.
Conclusion:
You can't be a Goliath without being a killer. And you can't maintain your championship without eliminating opponents.

He has done so very much for me
He has forgiven all my sins..
And sent the Holy Ghost to me
I Love the Man of Galilee.
Prayer:
Oh Lord remove any Goliath holding our society hostage. In Jesus name. Amen.
