WHO IS THE GOLIATH TO YOU?
2. Giant (1 Samuel 17:4-7):
We said yesterday that "the problem our society is facing today is because of the Giants around us. They use their influence, affluence and finances to intimidate people. They believe that they have the power and political backup." They hide under political power to deal with people. Who dares to challenge them?!
I read something online today that made me feel very unhappy and pained in my spirit. It's about Landmark Beach, which I heard that the project cost about $200Mil. to build. Few years later portions of the beach and shoreline infrastructure was destroyed due to the construction of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project, which was expected to pass through the beach.
After the damage has been done, the Government said that the coastal highway has been diverted. I don't want to bore you with the alleged stories behind that. But I heard that the company was left without any compensation from the Government. From the alleged stories, you'll conclude that the demolition is far beyond the project.
Conclusion:
When Giants are in the place of authority Goliath will continue to threaten the people. But God no go shame us.
