Things to Note About Indoor Ministry
7. Indoor Ministry Is Often Hidden but Powerful. Outdoor Ministry may receive recognition, applause, and public appreciation. Indoor Ministry may receive none. Yet, some of the greatest impacts happen quietly. A prayer for a family member, a word of encouragement to a friend, or consistent godly influence on a child may never become public—but Heaven sees it.
8. The People Closest to You Are Part of Your Assignment. We often think about assignments in distant places while ignoring the people God has already placed within our reach. Sometimes, the person needing your ministry is: in your house, on your street, at your workplace, in your school, or among your friends. You don't always have to travel far to find someone to serve.
9. Indoor Ministry Can Be More Difficult Than Outdoor Ministry. This is a very realistic point. It can sometimes be easier to minister to strangers than to people who know you closely. Familiarity can make people: take you for granted, doubt your growth, remember your past, or refuse to receive from you. Yet, this should not stop you from living out your calling before them.
Conclusion:
Every ministry is a service to humanity. But service becomes difficult when you're serving people that are too familiar with you.
