THE DIRECTION - Ministerial Direction

Topic: THE DIRECTION - Ministerial Direction

Word: Proverbs 22:6 KJV

Train up a child in the way he should go: And when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Here's My Take:

THINGS TO NOTE ABOUT INDOOR MINISTRY:

4. Indoor Ministry Builds the Foundation for Outdoor Ministry. The lessons learned while ministering to people within a small circle can prepare a person for greater responsibility. Within Indoor Ministry, a person learns: patience, forgiveness, communication, sacrifice, human management, and consistency.

These are also necessary for Outdoor Ministry.

5. Outdoor Ministry Should Not Destroy Indoor Ministry. This is extremely important. A person should not become so busy saving the world that they completely neglect the people closest to them. Ministry should never become an excuse for abandoning responsibilities. A minister who constantly blesses strangers but continually wounds the people closest to them needs to examine their priorities.

6. Indoor Ministry Happens Without a Platform. You do not need: a microphone, a church building, a title, a congregation, or social media followers, before you can minister. Encouraging someone, praying with someone, giving wise counsel, helping someone in need, and demonstrating Christ-like love are all expressions of ministry.

Conclusion:

What a person learns while serving a few people may prepare them to serve many. Ministry begins where you are, with the people God has placed around you.

Song:

You raise me up so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up to walk on stormy seas
I am strong when I am on Your shoulders
You raise me up to more than I can be

Prayer:

Lord may indoor ministry be activated in our midst. In Jesus name. Amen.
