Things to Note About Indoor Ministry
Some of the greatest ministries happen quietly and without recognition. Familiarity can make Indoor Ministry more difficult.
Both Indoor and Outdoor Ministry require balance. Ministry begins with the people within our reach before extending to the people beyond our reach. Outdoor Ministry may take your message to many people, but Indoor Ministry determines whether the people closest to you have truly experienced the message you preach.
For example, a parent may never become publicly recognized as a minister but may raise: a pastor, an evangelist, a missionary, a teacher, a leader, or someone who greatly impacts society.
That parent has, in a real sense, ministered into a destiny. Not everyone who raises a giant will become famous, but every giant was once shaped by someone.
The ministry that prepares a person for the world may happen quietly within the walls of a home. Indoor Ministry is neglected → character is poorly formed → individuals enter society without proper foundations → society begins to suffer.
Conclusion:
Society is often a reflection of what was built—or neglected—within the home. When the home fails to build character, society eventually pays the price.
