ARMS OF INDOOR MINISTRY
FAMILY: The reason family plays a major role in the nurturing and development of a child is that every child represents a family and carries the identity of the family to which he or she belongs. Family, as an arm of Indoor Ministry, joins in the training, directing, nurturing, and shaping of a child. As family members, all hands should be on deck to help raise and guide a child. Just like parenting, family is a ministry that often works behind the scenes in raising destinies. This ministry begins at home. It starts with the people closest to us before extending to those outside our immediate circle. In many ways, family members are among the first people we are called to minister to.
One of the benefits of belonging to a healthy family is the support we receive. Family can provide encouragement, guidance, correction, protection, and assistance during different stages of life.
Within this ministry, every family member has a unique role to play. Leadership and responsibility should be exercised with wisdom, love, and cooperation, while others contribute according to their capacity and circumstances. At different times, family members may also need to support one another by taking up responsibilities when necessary.
Conclusion:
The ministry of the family cannot be overemphasized. A strong family can become a powerful environment for raising, guiding, supporting, and preparing destinies for the future.
