WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT RELATIONSHIP DIRECTION:
1. Relationship Direction helps us know who to connect with. Not everyone we meet is meant to become a friend, and not everyone who likes us should have access to us. Direction helps us distinguish between acquaintances, friends, mentors, partners, and people who should simply remain at a distance.
2. It helps us know who should have access to us. A major part of relationship wisdom is understanding that access should be earned, not automatically granted. You can love people without giving everyone the same level of access to your life.
3. Relationship Direction helps us recognize unhealthy relationships. Some relationships drain, manipulate, distract, or gradually destroy a person's values and purpose. Direction helps us recognize when a relationship is becoming harmful.
