Topic: THE DIRECTION - Financial Direction
Word: Isaiah 30:21 NKJV
Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left.
Here's My Take:
THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT FINANCIAL DIRECTION
23. Financial Direction Is Tested During Increase. It is easy to be careful with little. The true test of financial direction comes when resources increase. Some people remain humble in lack but become careless in abundance.
When you have excess money to spare is when you need financial direction or discipline. Because majority of us are careless when there's enough money. But became financially wise when money is almost finished. You can't have a stable financial life with such attitude
There's an Igbo adage that says "Aku na efe efe". It means wealth flies or wealth is contagious(transferable). Depending on how the last two words were pronounced. Money flies away when it's not used judiciously. There are people when they have enough, you see them buying things they don't need. And going places they're not invited. They will not stop until the money finish. Then they will regain their senses.
Conclusion:
Financial direction transforms income into resources and impact and not callous spendings. Increase does not change character—it reveals it.
Song:
You are the hope that I cling to
You mean, more than this world to me
I wouldn′t trade you for silver or gold
I wouldn't trade you for riches untold
Prayer:
Oh Lord may we become financially wise and responsible in Jesus’ name, Amen.
