Topic: THE DIRECTION - Financial Direction
Word: Isaiah 30:21 NKJV
Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left.
Here's My Take:
WHAT FINANCIAL DIRECTION TEACHES
Investment: Saving preserves wealth, but wise investing helps it grow. The person who saves is thinking about tomorrow, but the person who invests is thinking about the future. Saving provides security, while investing creates opportunities for growth. When we save, we may still have limited resources to spend. But when we invest wisely, we increase our capacity and position ourselves for greater financial abundance.
Delayed Gratification: Many financial mistakes result from the desire for immediate satisfaction rather than long-term financial stability. Chasing instant gratification often destroys future financial plans and prevents lasting wealth from being built.
Avoiding Comparison: Comparing lifestyles often leads to unnecessary spending and financial pressure. Comparison has placed many people under financial strain and has even contributed to the downfall of some. As the Bible says, "Only unwise people compare themselves with others (2Cor 10:12). Wise people focus on their own financial journey rather than trying to keep up with others.
Conclusion:
Financial Direction does not impose financial burdens; rather, it teaches financial wisdom, discipline, contentment, and responsible stewardship.
Song:
Every praise is to our God.
Every word of worship with one accord
Every praise every praise is to our God.
Sing hallelujah to our God
Glory hallelujah is due our God
Every praise every praise is to our God.
Prayer:
Oh Lord may we become financially responsible in Jesus’ name, Amen.
