Here's My Take:
WHAT FINANCIAL DIRECTION TEACHES
Stewardship. Wealth is a trust. The way we manage little often determines whether we can be entrusted with much. A lot of people hate the word "manage", they assume that it's the word use by people to avoid taking financial responsibility. Financial management is financial responsibility.
Debt management. Financial direction teaches when to borrow, when to avoid debt, and how to live within one's means. In a bit to please people or to show off has kept many in debt. Financial Direction teaches us to avoid excessive borrowing and to live off debt.
Generosity. Wise financial management is not only about accumulation but also about blessing others and advancing God's work. Wise people do not hoard money they give. Financial Direction teaches generosity and not stinginess.
Conclusion:
Financial Direction is a guide for financial acquisition and management.
