Ephesians 6:13 KJV
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
One truth you should know is that evil days are here. And it will only take those that wore the complete spiritual armory to be able to withstand that.
Also we're in a battlefield. Though the battle is of the Lord's. No one stands in the battlefield without full war kits. Otherwise, he becomes a casualty of war.

Therefore guide your loins with truth, wear breastplates of righteousness and shield yourself with faith. Don't forget to cover your head with a helmet of salvation, and also hold the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
