The Bible said "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness." 1 Timothy 6:10-11 NIV
This was God's instruction to His servants, yet greed has prevented some of them from remaining faithful to it.
The love of money knows no gender, tribe, race, social status, or personality. Once a good person develops an unhealthy love for money, almost anything becomes possible. Principles are compromised, convictions are exchanged, integrity is sacrificed, and even faith can be abandoned.
