God gives direction through:
6. The Peace Of The Holy Spirit:
the last, but not the least, is the Peace of the Holy Spirit.
This is another means through which we experience spiritual direction. Many people rely on this method in their daily lives. If you ask them, they will tell you that they did not hear an audible voice from God, yet they felt peace about taking a particular step or embarking on a particular journey.
This pattern of spiritual direction is commonly seen in marriage decisions. Can I get a witness?
A brother once told me the story of how he married his wife. According to him, he did not hear an audible voice or receive a revelation, but he had a strong conviction that she was the woman God had for him. Meanwhile, another man was buying her gifts and praying for God to confirm whether she was his future wife.
As the other man prayed, God told him to take his hands off because the woman belonged to the brother. The brother later told me that what guided him was the peace he had within. He went to his pastor and honestly admitted that he had not seen any revelation or heard any voice, but he wanted to marry the lady.
God honored that peace.
Conclusion: I have a lot more to say on this subject, but time will not permit me. Just know that God knows each of us personally, and He knows the best way to communicate with every one of His children. Hope you're His child?
