Topic: THE DIRECTION - Career Direction

Word: Isaiah 30:21 NIV

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

Here's My Take:
WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT CAREER DIRECTION:

25. Every Career Has Seasons. Every career journey contains seasons: learning seasons, waiting seasons, building seasons, growth seasons and harvest seasons.
Many people quit because they misunderstand seasons. A slow season does not always mean a wrong direction.
26. Excellence Matters in Career Direction. Direction without excellence limits impact. Once a person discovers the right path, excellence becomes necessary. Mediocrity can reduce the value of good direction. People who pursue excellence stand out naturally.
27. Character Sustains Career Success. Skill may open doors, but character keeps them open. Many gifted people lose opportunities because they lack: integrity, humility, discipline, honesty, or emotional maturity.
Good character protects career growth.

Conclusion:

The most difficult season is the waiting season. And it's the longest season. But once it is crossed, no season will be a walk over. Are you sure that you're not in your waiting season?

Song:

Heaven came down and glory filled my soul
When at the cross my Saviour made me whole
My sins were washed away
And my night was turned to day
Heaven came down and glory filled my soul

Prayer:

Oh Lord please on our career journey may we not quit during our waiting seasons. In Jesus name, Amen.
