WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT DIRECTION:

4. Career Direction Requires Self-Discovery. A person who does not understand themselves may struggle to choose the right career path. Self-discovery is an important part of career direction.
A person must identify: strengths, weaknesses, passions, values, and natural abilities.
Many people fail not because they lack potential, but because they have not discovered themselves.

5. Comparison Destroys Career Direction Many people choose careers based on pressure, trends, or comparison with others. Some enter certain professions simply because their friends or family members did. What works for one person may not work for another. Direction is personal.

6. Career Direction Requires Patience. Not every career grows immediately. Some paths require learning, training, consistency, and experience before results become visible. Impatience has caused many people to abandon paths that could have become great.
