When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
There are situations that may not look very serious, but their implications and consequences can be devastating.
Some time ago, my wife had a revelation in which I was dismissed from my job. As soon as she told me, I held her hand and immediately prayed against it.
Two days later, I had a minor confrontation with one of my bosses. Although it seemed like a small issue, some of my colleagues wanted to get involved. As I considered the way they intended to approach the matter, the Holy Spirit reminded me of the revelation my wife had shared. I quickly went to them and asked them not to get involved.
That was the end of the matter.
That situation may not look very dry but it's a water. It may not look so deep but it's a river. It may not have looked dangerous, but it had the potential to cause serious harm.
Many times, the greatest dangers come disguised as small and insignificant issues. This is why we must remain sensitive to God's warnings and guidance. May God deliver us at all cost in Jesus name. Amen.
