One major destroyer of direction is comparison. Personal direction helps you focus on your own assignment instead of competing with others unnecessarily.
Not every successful path is your path.
8. Spiritual Alignment
True personal direction is incomplete without God. Self-discovery is important, but divine guidance gives purpose meaning and stability.
A person may know himself and still miss God’s plan without spiritual direction.
9. Avoiding Distractions
One major benefit of personal direction is focus. A person who understands his direction will not easily be distracted by every opportunity, trend, or opinion.
Not every open door is meant for everyone. Direction helps a person identify what truly matters.
