Here’s My Take:
HOW TO KNOW A PHARISEE (Pt. 3):
"They are controlling in nature."
The worst kind of people to deal with are the Pharisees. They enforce heavy religious laws to keep people under their thumb. They disliked Jesus because He could not be boxed in.
The fear of His boldness, audacity, and authority became their nightmare.
If you fail to do their bidding, they will go to any length to stress you and mount pressure until you succumb. Everything they say is final—or so they think.
Conclusion:
The lust for control is an enemy of progress. It blinds a person from seeing that they are heading toward destruction.
