Topic: THE PHARISEES
Word: Matthew 23:2 NLT
"The teachers of religious law and the Pharisees are the official interpreters of the law of Moses."
Here’s My Take:
HOW TO KNOW A PHARISEE (Pt. 3 continued):
I once observed a leader struggling because her assistant was a controlling kind of person. This vice-leader would create rules without involvement, wanting everything done her own way.
"The Pharisees want to be the only mouth speaking. They want to be the only voice heard."
Their ability to follow is rare; they always want to be in charge, dishing out instructions. Whatever interests them will be done; if not, it will be trashed. Their decision is final, and they are not ready to bend.
Conclusion:
Never forget that "the lust for control is an enemy of progress." If everyone treads that path, life becomes a "mission impossible."
🎵 Song of Surrender:
Jesus, take the wheel... Take it from my hands
'Cause I can't do this on my own
I'm letting go... save me from this road I'm on
Prayer: Lord deliver us from the hands of the Pharisees. In Jesus name. Amen.
