Here’s My Take:
HOW TO KNOW A PHARISEE (Pt. 5):
"They want to be noticed all the time."
This is the primary character of the Pharisees. They love to sit in the seats of honor and receive respectful greetings in the marketplaces. Nothing pleases them more than being noticed.
I heard a story of a woman who was a leader for many years. When she was replaced, she went behind the scenes to manipulate her way back into power. Her plan failed.
Pharisees always want to be the boss by all means. They are experts at manipulating their way to the top and subjecting everyone to dance to their tune.
Conclusion:
Authority is good, but not when it falls into the wrong hands.
