Here’s My Take:
Jesus Encounter With The Pharisees:
When a Pastor, Evangelist, priest, etc, is interested in the crowd and not in the purpose/mission. He will lose sight of the move(Grace, Glory and Power) of God. Because the way and manner the Church is going, people assume that the Church/es with the highest crowd is/are the best.
And some Preachers too, assume that having a crowd in a sitting is a sign that you're doing well. Because of this mentality, so many preachers today are under pressure. Because they want to be like someone else. And when they'd tried and couldn't meet up, they began to look for an alternative.
This was the case of the Pharisees. The crowd the saw made them wonder if they were called or not. They couldn't believe their eyes. They wondered how one man could gather such a crowd, while all of them, including the ones in other locations, combined, had never gathered such a crowd. They became more curious and envious.
Conclusion:
If crowds didn't cause a problem in this dispensation nothing else will. May God deliver us from the crowd.
