If someone brought you to Church, best to experience God yourself.
Even if you came to know God through somebody, try as much as you can to know him more by yourself.
Yes somebody can bring you to God but your stay in God is yours to determine.
So that if that person decides to leave God, it won't affect you. Neither will you join them.
