Here’s My Take:

Jesus Encounter Me The Pharisees:
We have been able to establish who The Pharisees were. Stating their connection to Judaism. But from today we'll be looking at Jesus'encounters with The Pharisees.

One day some people said to Jesus, “John the Baptist’s disciples fast and pray regularly, and so do the disciples of the Pharisees. Why are your disciples always eating and drinking?” Luke 5:33 NLT

We'll always have around us these sets of people that will want to know everything about everyone around them. They can never mind their business. They want to run their lives and also run other people's lives too.

Anything they see you do, they'll want to know why you did it like that. They're not asking the question because they care, but because they want to tell you what to do. And you must do it. If you don't do it, then get ready for attacks from them. And that's who the Pharisees are.

Conclusion:
Jesus is a master and the Lord, he always knows their intent and will always respond to them in a way that will confuse them. Jesus responded, “Do wedding guests fast while celebrating with the groom? Of course not. But someday the groom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.” Luke 5:34-35 NLT
